Note: I used Amanda Hesser's The Cook & the Gardener's recipe for braised lamb and while I didn't have homemade beef stock this time I used homemade vegetable stock - and it turned out fantastic once again - not quite as decadent as with the beef stock great. I highly recommend it!
I also used the same recipe for the Spring into Summer dinner!
