Too sweet and forward. Others will like. Short finish. Good for the price.

Short acid finish. Ok for the money.

Appealing light fruit on nose – grapefruit! Wow. Great rosé. Strawberry wine!

Great Nose. Grapefruit finish. Tough of oak. Balanced.

Definitely Viognier. Nicely balanced. Good finish. Enough acids for now. 3-4 year wine.

Nice enough wine. Good balance. Good fruit but lacks personality.

Hohum. “yes it’s pinot…” Long finish.

Lip-smacking. Good Tannins. Good long finish. Still… doesn’t excite.

Astringent! Didn’t like. More concentrated than the ’02 Syrah.

Really Nice but alcohol showed to me. Zin-like. 15.6% alcohol.

Deep and concentrated. Tannic but approachable.

Leaner and more acidic.
2003 Tensley Colson Canyon Syrah $32
Young red fruit but high alcohol. High acid on finish. High concentration of red fruit in center but lean finish.
