We arrived at our appointed reservation time – 9 pm and were immediately shown to our table. From the first water waiter, to the arrival of the check, everything was smooth. The food was tremendous in every way. The service was perfect.
We had our 2-year-old with us and he was treated well, with his own small place setting and all the amuse were in 3s to include him. They even went in search of chocolate ice cream for him for dessert and when none was found the chef sent out vanilla with chocolate sauce instead.
Notable were the white tuna (Trent, upon eating half of Jack’s order had his own order delivered). The Gnocchi was blissful. I could have lingered over it for hours. The let down was the cheese course which was TINY – we had the 3 for $12 option. (What are you expecting for $12 in NYC? - Jack.) Enough for literally a taste to share and definitely a nouvelle cuisine portion – beautifully presented though.
