Della Fattoria

Located in Petaluma, CA, they turn out world-class artisan breads. All the flour that they use is organic. From their website: "All breads are leavened with a natural starter, hydrated with pure well water, and salted with coarse grey sea salt from Brittany."

Our favorites are the Semolina and the Meyer Lemon Rosemary. If you love sesame, the Semolina paired with a good unsalted butter is hard to beat. We were served the Polenta at the Fifth Floor in San Francisco and we were instantly in love with the slightly sour and rough texture - it may become a new regular with us.
