The Big Slow Food Events

Slow Food Nation
San Francisco
August 29 - Sept. 1, 2008

This four-day event will be the first large-scale celebration of American food. Slow Food Nation will feature a marketplace of farmers and artisans from across the country showcasing traditional foods. Look for workshops and tastings devoted to sustainably produced food, discussions about global issues such as childhood obesity in this country, famine in the developing world, more.
